The X-Pro series have always hold very dear to me in the Fujifilm X-series line-up. It may not be as popular as its SLR style X-T series in term of sales, but the X-Pro series is without a doubt special in the photography world, especially mine. How should I put; it has more soul and character.
When I first saw the X-Pro1 in the flesh I was mesmerize by the way it looks and of course the hybrid viewfinder. which till today is still an amazing piece of tech. Even when the AF is amazingly slow and the AF accuracy hits rate was poor; I became the proud owner of an X-Pro1 together with XF35mm F1.4 and XF14mm F2.8. It wasn’t a logical acquisition. That was in June 2013 and I still own it! Sadly I sold my XF14mm to fund the XF16mm; which I still regretted.
My X-Pro1. Aging well with time.X-Pro1 mated with XF16-80mm F4 OIS WR.
Strangely from that faithful day onwards; this camera; rekindle my love for photography. I just have a need to bring it with me everywhere. And thus I shoot more in my free time; and this also lead to more opportunity to photograph unexpected stuff because my X-Pro1 is always with me. Below are some photos taken with X-Pro1 in both work ands leisure.

When X-Pro2 arrived in 2016, It’s has mature much with many improvements and thus a more able camera. Auto Focus is quick, plus its weather seal and retain the
sexy original design form. About a year after it’s launch with firmware update; X-Pro2 also is able to record in 4K video.
My everyday camera is the X100 series; which is the X100F. There are times when I needed more reach or a better lens set-up; that is where I will take the X-Pro2. Here are more photos to showcase what an amazing camera X-Pro2 is.
When I gotten X-Pro1 its certainly style over substance. With X-Pro2 Its not just style;
it does have substance. With the successor( I believe it should be name X-Pro3); I believe is certainly gonna be a camera with style and substance. So when is it coming? I have no idea but I would guess it’s within a year. Here is my wish list.
1. Auto Focus speed and accuracy to be better or at least on par with X-T3
2. A silver version like X100 series. Or maybe a matt black version?
3. A two way tilt screen. (please!) And don’t compromise on the design aspect.
4. Eterna Film simulation
5. IBIS? I personally feel there is no need especially at the expense of size increase.
Unless there isn’t. That will be amazing.
6. Anyone care to share more on the wish list? Do kindly comment below?
