When it comes to a good and wallet friendly lens, TTartisan is second to none. I had the privilege to test the new TTartisan 56mm F1.8 auto focus lens. I must compliment TTartisan for making great stride in the Auto Focus department.

The auto focus of the 56mm lens is quick and certain. I have no complain. It’s also very smooth and quiet. MFD is at 50cm. Optically I love the result from this 52mm filter size lens. Weighting at about 240 grams, this lens is a perfect balance for any X-camera. At 56mm, this lens is a great portraits lens. There is no aperture ring for this lens which could be abummer for some Fujifanboys. This lens is not WR.

Price at USD$158  I am certain this is very attractive. Especially for user that is new to Fujifilm, that doesn’t wanna spend too much on a lens.  Plus it also comes with a lovely square hood. In conclusion when the AF is quick, optically good and price well; I guess we have a true winner here.
