the Light

Photography is not just about pushing the shutter. It’s about when; how and why you push that shutter. There are many components that lead to the final image. It could be the camera you use; your choice of lenses, your communication with the model, how you process your raw file; and even how we see it via the monitor. Every component is critical. But the most important component is light. Without light, you will not be able to photograph anything. Waiting for the right light is important when you are shooting landscape. Light helps to shape the scene. Likewise with everything we shoot – No light; no picture. I have been chasing the best light I can get for 30 years. Sunlight, artificial lights – not all lights are made equal. As for strobes; I have been using the best for almost 10 years. Nothing comes close. Don’t take my word for it. You have to try it for yourself. Seeing is believing for this case.

Broncolor have many amazing light shapers. And they are second to none in term of build and quality. This is true especially of their Parabolic light shapers. What makes Broncolor special – is their quality of light and its consistency, shot after shot after shot. Everyday when we walk out of our home; we see many level of quality of light. As for Broncolor, I will always have the best with me; doesn’t matter it’s indoor or outdoor.

Many a time I would just shoot without any light shaper. Not even with a dish. Just a bare bulb. As the quality of light that comes out from a Broncolor is so crisp. It’s like a sunlight caressing on my models’s skin. Bright, clear, clean and like what I mention; crisp. Sometime I do feel invincible; because I can carry the sun with me. That’s why Broncolor has a simple tagline called ‘The Light.’
