Fujifilm Singapore also took this opportunity to introduce their newly minted X Series Ambassador,
ever lovely, Miss Belinda Lee. An actress, former MTV VJ and a TV travel host. From Arctic to the
Mongolia, South America to Africa, Oman to Bhutan, I have not known anyone that have travel to
so many diverse location. Many of which are difficult to reach. As beautiful as she may be; this is
one tough gal. Or should I say one tough Fuji X Ambassador. Hopefully in the near future Belinda
will bring a group of Fuji X shooter for a oversea photo trip. That will be X-citing!

Last week I had the privilege to spend some time with Belinda. I was task by Fujifilm Singapore
to introduce her to the X- series camera. We started with X100T. When she hung it over her; it
fits her like a glove! I spend about an hour showing Belinda the great feature and functions of
the X100T.
I asked her what do you think of the X100T? She loves the whole retro design with all the cutting
edge technologies in one package. She did mention that its a bit heavy. A week later at the Fujifilm
SG50 Carnival; I had the opportunity to meet her again, I asked her; does it still feels a bit heavy?
She replied; after a week of using the X100T its doesn’t feel “a bit heavy” anymore. In fact it feels
very balance in her hands. PS; her previous camera was a very slim compact and now I know
why the X100T feels a bit heavy to her.

I also had a photo exhibition in conjunction with the Fujifilm SG50 Carnival. Celebrate50 is a
exhibition in light of Singapore 50 years of nation building. Regardless of Race, Language or
Religion. This series of Singaporean portraits are from 1 year old to 50 years old. From a
student to a entrepreneur, hawker to body builder, doctor to celebrities. It feature Singaporean
from all walks of life.

The Fuji X-T1 mated with XF56mm APD was my weapon of choice for this project. Primarily the
Profoto B1 and B2 were used to light up the model. I have always love the “light” from Profoto
system. So crisp! For some of the behind the scene; here are the links…
