I think this is TTartisan 2nd Autofocus lens. The 35mm F1.8 cost USD $149. Did I mention this includes a sexy square hood. At this price point I think it’s quite easy to pick it up. This is even more attractive if you are new to Fujifilm and looking for a 3rd party Auto focus lens. The autofocus of this lens is not lighting quick. Neither is it slow. To me its quick enough for most application. The design of this lens is very modern and understated. Will definitely appeal  to many. Of course die-hard Fujifanboys will fault it as it doesn’t have an aperture ring. Not a deal breaker for me. Especially when mated with the lovely square hood.

This lens weight at about 200 grams. Minimum aperture of F1.8 to F16. Has a 52mm filter size. I have no complain optically. Its good. Has 10 element in 8 groups. If I am not wrong, this lens is being offered to X-mount first and later for E and Z mount.  There is nothing much I could criticised on this lens except I would love the MFD to be better. At 60cm, it’s nothing to shout about. But this alone wouldn’t cause a dent to this lens attractiveness( design )  affordability and performance. 

So, if you have $149 and looking for a new AF lens, the TTartisan 35mm F1.8 is a very worthy consideration.
