As a commercial photographer; its is indeed one of the most exciting and rewarding genre in photography. It is also very challenging at times. Client and art director will always push beyond your limits. And that is where I acquire need new skills and techniques in that process. Client doesn’t care how you do it as long as you know how to achieve and craft that shot for them. Regardless what I shoot; I always tell myself that every shot must be special. Shoot differently. If I didn’t succeed, try and try harder again. There is also something I do every year. Submitting both my commercial and personal work for international competition. This is where I learn and compete in an international level. Seeing the best work from fellow photographer and hopefully someday to see my own work being selected. PX3 is Europe’s biggest and most prestigious photography competition. With submission of thousands of entries from over 85 countries. This year together for the first time with my Fuji X-T1; we collected 3 Honorable Mention Awards. First set of pictures from my SG50 photo exhibition series. Second picture, I name it “Half a Sweet Potato.” This was shot in my kitchen with available light and a mirror on the right of the sweet potato. And the last photo was a portrait for a restaurant client.

Last year’s at 2014 PX3 I also collected a 1st place (Gold) with a picture of a swan. Its shot with a Fuji X-Pro1 and the pin sharp XF35mm. Lastly I would like to encourage all photographer to participate and have some fun.
