Recently I did a shoot at a gym in Turf City. After the session is over, I ask the fitness model, Madeleine; if we could do a quick test shoot downstairs at the open air carpark. Within 5 minutes we were down at the carpark and up and ready. As for the light set-up, a Profoto B1 as the main light with a silver beauty dish attached and Profoto Acute B as the rim light.
Armed with a Phase One with a Leaf Aptus back + a 80mm leaf shutter lens, I fired off with a blazing fast 1/1600 sync speed and F-stop ranges about F6.3-F8. Over powering the noon sun by 2-3 stop. The strobes are trigger via the Profoto Air Sync. ( Thank you Joel). Below are some of the test photos.
