Weekend with XF56mm F1.2 (APD)

Some lenses are just underrated. My top lens is always a 23mm focal length or X100V which is also a 23mm fixed lens. So this weekend I decided to challenge myself to only work with my XF56mm F1.2 APD lens. Its mated with the new X-Pro3 and actually looks gorgeous together.
As many will know about this lens; neither the standard or APD version’s strength is in the auto focus. But once you nail it; you will certainly be rewarded. This lens shine best when you are planning to photograph people. Be it, fashion, location wedding  portraits and even in the studio. You will not be disappointed.
But this weekend I am using it like a 23mm lens. I just shoot whatever comes my way. It’s not as versatile and takes a bit longer to get used to. Below are some photo taken with it and I think its pretty fun using this lens other than shooting portraits. Photo process in Capture One. Who also uses this lens for everyday shoots?

Thanks!
