As with all my holiday, the biggest headache for me is which camera should I bring. It was a last minute 5 days get away to Phuket, which is about an one and a half hour flight from Singapore.
The below photo will tell you my headache. Which system?
The first set-up is X-T3. Which is a very able camera. Fast AF, good IQ and WR. Paired with XF10-24mm F4, XF50-140mm F2.8 (plus TX X1.4) and the magical XF23mm F1.4.
I think this set-up is pretty versatile. All this set-up for less than 2.3kg. For less than half
of that weight I get the super versatile X100F and its two convertor lens. All this for about
800 grams. So now you know why I am having a headache. They both have it’s strength
and also disadvantages. So which system did I eventually committed to? I had a tough
time deciding and be silly this round and bring both. Yes both! sharing my holiday pics….
enjoy.
